Streaming quality reduced when using VPN

Fix buffering and reduced streaming quality when connected to HorizonVPN.

  1. 1Pause downloads, cloud backups, and other heavy traffic on the same connection
  2. 2Connect to a server close to your real location when you only need privacy
  3. 3Keep Protocol set to Auto; if the connection is unstable, try Connection compatibility
  4. 4Use a wired or strong Wi-Fi connection
  5. 5Run HorizonVPN's built-in Speed test before and after connecting, then compare another nearby location
  6. 6Lower the streaming quality temporarily if the available connection cannot sustain the selected resolution

A single speed result cannot prove where a bottleneck is. Playback also depends on latency, Wi-Fi quality, the streaming provider, device performance, and how the provider routes traffic to the selected VPN location.
