Choosing a server for P2P

For legal P2P transfers, speed usually depends on distance, server load, peer availability, and your own ISP connection.

Recommended approach

• Start with Auto and a nearby location
• If your app shows server load, prefer a lower-load server
• Choose a nearby country for better latency and throughput
• Use the built-in Speed test to compare two nearby locations under similar conditions
• Remember that peer availability can limit a transfer even when the VPN route is healthy
